Ode to Spring
Yesterday I wrote a poem for the first time in 4 months. The ink felt odd on the old notebook, the words too simple, or too overdone, or too lofty, trailing over here and than intertwining there. In the end it was nothing special, nothing radical- a little Ode to Spring- but, it was a breakthrough.

Scent
It’s springtime again, at least we’re hoping it’s here to stay. I pulled down my Vanilla & Apple lotion off the shelf to rub into my hands, dry from winter. I bought this lotion in Poland and the smell brought me back to there so vividly I saw sunshine and the yellow autumn leaves outside my dormitory room in Krakow.
It’s strange how smell can do that to you. Sometimes...

Counting Down
In a month or so I am graduating from my honours undergraduate degree. I can’t wait, I’ve got it bad and can’t find the time to appreciate my last semester which is a rather unfortunate thing.
